I want to capture the deep emotional connection you have through beautiful imagery that’s uniquely you. I take a unique approach to my family photography to ensure that I capture you having fun, and smiling naturally.

What's included?

My family photography includes an intimate photoshoot on-location and an image gallery, delivered digitally. Your gallery includes web resolution and high definition versions of your images, as well as all your images in colour and black and white. I typically deliver 50-100 images per shooting hour. Part of the reason you hire me is to curate the images I take and deliver them in a way that tells your story. I am not going to keep images from you, but instead deliver the image that best portrays that moment. This means I will make sure any double-ups, closed-eyes or in-between shots don’t make their way into your gallery. I have access to a farm in Colo Vale where we can shoot family photos. If you have a different location in mind I am happy to work with you. I travel all over the Southern Highlands for Family photography, and travel fees may apply.

What can I expect?

After you enquire, you can expect me to reach out and confirm dates with you. From there, we will discuss your desired vision for the photoshoot, and I will learn a bit more about you, to help me let your family’s personality shine through your images.

I run my family photoshoots a little differently to other photographers. In the first half an hour, I will direct your photoshoot, and get all of the staged shots out of the way. In the second half an hour, I encourage you to bring something to do – whether this be having a picnic, flying a kite or playing soccer – I want to capture who your family is, and what you enjoy doing together. In this second half an hour, you will be able to relax, enjoy some quality time with your family, and I’ll be there to capture it all through my camera. This makes for some fantastic and unexpected candid photographs.

Your comfort during your photoshoot is my number one priority. You can expect a friendly photographer who will get to know you and make you feel at ease in front of the camera. I like to capture candid moments, but I will also give you direction throughout our time together to ensure we get the best images possible.

I will deliver your full gallery within 2 weeks via the online gallery.
